A bad boy-style Porsche 911 Turbo is up for auction.

The 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo from the movie "Bad Boys" will be offered at Mecum's January auction in Kissimmee, Florida.

The car is a 964-generation 911 Turbo 3.6, produced only for the 1993 and 1994 model years.

The rear-mounted 3.6-liter flat-six turbocharger produces 355 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque and is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. The car wears Speedline aluminum wheels and is equipped with a sunroof, black leather seat upholstery, and a period-inspired cassette player.

According to the auction listing, the car was actually driven by Will Smith's character in the film, as evidenced by certificates of authenticity issued by both Porsche and Columbia Pictures. It was also owned by "Bad Boys" director Michael Bay, but was subsequently sold several times before falling into the hands of its current owner.

The 911 Turbo, now with 34,396 miles, was restored in 2006 and has won several concours awards. It was also on display at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, Georgia for eight months in 2020 and at the premiere of Bad Boys for Life in January of that year. The sequel featured the current 992-generation 911 Carrera 4S.

Mecum does not publish pre-auction price estimates, but other recent 964 Turbo transactions have reached six figures. Despite its increasing value, the 964 911 has also become a popular choice for modifications, serving as a canvas for EV conversions by companies like Singer and Everrati.
