2023 Mercedes-Benz AMG C 43, 2023 Porsche 911 Sport Classic, Koenigsegg Jesko: best photos of the week
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is being redesigned for 2022, and the first of two planned AMG versions was unveiled this week. This car is the new C 43, which, as expected, has been downsized from a six-cylinder engine to a four-cylinder engine.
Buyers looking for a large sports sedan should look at the redesigned Genesis G80 Sport for 2022. The latest model is based on the redesigned G80 from 2021, bringing a new platform, new powertrains, and a very attractive exterior.
The Porsche 911 Sport Classic is back, this time based on the Turbo S variant of the 992-generation 911. However, it can be called unique because instead of the Turbo S's all-wheel drive and dual-clutch automatic, it features rear-wheel drive and a seven-speed manual.
Speaking of manual transmissions, Toyota has added a third pedal to the Supra for 2023. It's available on a version of the sports car with a 3.0-liter engine.
Development of the Jesco by Koenigsegg is nearly complete, and the Swedish hypercar maker will soon begin production of 125 units. This week Koenigsegg unveiled a pre-production version of the Jesco Absolut high-speed model. There is also a high-downforce model of the Jesco Attack designed for the race track.
One of the cars we witnessed being tested this week is the Mini Countryman, which will be redesigned for 2024. This is one of three crossovers Mini is developing.
We also witnessed the redesigned Land Rover Range Rover Sport. The SUV is scheduled to debut on May 10, and we can confirm that it will eventually be followed by a high-performance SVR variant.
And finally, Acura announced pricing for the 2023 Integra. Scheduled to arrive early this summer, the Integra will start at $31,895.
