Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, Audi RS Q E-Tron E2, 2023 Honda Civic Type R: Top Photos of the Week
Bugatti's latest version of the Chiron delivers 1,578 hp. This hypercar is related to the Chiron Supersport 300+ Speed King, but has a lower top speed and is tuned for comfort rather than full performance.
The other car we tested was the 2022 Toyota Tundra in its luxurious capstone guise. The Toyota Tundra tried to compete with Toyota's leader, the Tundra, and while it came up short, there was no denying that the Toyota is still a great truck.
We also tested the Lincoln Active Glide, a Level 2 hands-free driver assistance system similar to General Motors' Super Cruise; while not as good as GM's system, it is better than any system currently on the market.
Specs, including horsepower, for the redesigned 2023 Honda Civic Type R are finally known. The hot hatch adheres to the tried and true formula of a huge rear wing, a six-speed manual transmission, and a powerful turbo four driving the front wheels, and we can't wait to drive it.
Audi's electric rally-raced SUV, the RS Q E-tron, has been upgraded to E2 specifications. The new version features redesigned bodywork, tweaks to optimize energy efficiency, and improved ergonomics.
Cadillac was spotted testing a new full-size sedan that is expected to replace the CT6. The sedan was spotted in the U.S., but it seems unlikely that we will see it offered outside of China, where the current CT6 is still being sold.
And finally, the Lotus Elettre was also spotted testing at the Nürburgring. This electric SUV will be available in 2023 and will have a maximum output of 600 hp, which is only the base grade.
