2023 Audi Q8 E-Tron, 2025 Porsche 718 EV: Top Photos of the Week

It's official. The Audi E-Tron has been rebranded the Q8 E-Tron with a mid-cycle update announced this week. It has new styling, enhanced charging capabilities, and a significantly longer range.

Mercedes-Benz AMG this week released lap times for its hypercar "One" on the Nürburgring. This is a new record for a production car, and the full run can be seen in the video.

Bugatti announced this week that its Mistral Roadster is designed to go faster than 261 mph and perhaps even faster than the land speed record of 265.6 mph for a convertible. The record top speed would be an ideal send-off for Bugatti's W-16 engine, which will be used for the last time in the Mistral.

Porsche's CEO confirmed plans for an electric 718 earlier this year, and the first prototype was spotted this week. The prototype is for a 718 Boxster convertible, but an electric 718 Cayman coupe should also be planned.

Another Porsche that made headlines this week is the upcoming 911 Dakar. This is an off-road-ready version of the iconic sports car, which Porsche will unveil at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Volvo unveiled a mid-size electric SUV dubbed the EX90. Despite its similar size and positioning, the EX90 is not a successor to the top-selling XC90, but an electric alternative.

An Italian EV startup named Aehra unveiled its first product. The last part is not surprising, since this SUV was designed by the designers of the Aventador and the Huracan.

And finally, Ram unveiled the 2500 HD, designed with input from country singer Chris Stapleton. The track is full of retro cool touches inspired by events in Stapleton's career.
