2023 Ford Bronco Sport with Black Diamond Off-Road Package

Buyers looking for a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport have several new options not available on previous models.

In August, Ford unveiled the Heritage Sport Edition, which features a number of retro cues for the 2023 model year. On Tuesday, it unveiled a new option package for the 2023 model year: the Black Diamond Off-Road Package.

Similar to the package offered on the larger Bronco, the Black Diamond Off-Road Package for the Bronco Sport adds a steel plate under the vehicle to protect key components from impacts. The four plates cover the fuel tank, fuel vapor canister, engine bay, and part of the four-wheel drive system. The name of this package is derived from the name of a difficult ski course.

The package also includes styling upgrades. These include 17-inch aluminum wheels with a low gloss finish and 225/65 all-terrain tires, as well as matte black graphics on the hood and sides of the vehicle.

The Black Diamond Off-Road Package is offered on the Bronco Sport Big Bend and Outer Banks grades and is available for order now. Ford has not disclosed pricing or when deliveries of this package will begin.

Every 2023 Ford Bronco Sport also comes with a free Bronco Off-Roadeo Pass with Trail Guide instructions.Bronco Off-Roadeo gives drivers the opportunity to learn how to handle their vehicles in off-road conditions It is a one-day training course that takes drivers on miles of groomed trails. Bronco Off-Roadeo is currently held in four locations: Horseshoe Bay, Texas; Mount Potosi, Nevada; Moab, Utah; and Guilford, New Hampshire.
