2024 Range Rover Evoque gets technology update, base price $51,075

The Range Rover Evoque will welcome the 2024 model year with subtle exterior styling changes, a reconfigured interior, and several technical updates.

This refresh of the second-generation Evoque, which was introduced in 2019 as a 2020 model, includes a new grille and headlights. Several new color options are also available, including Arroyo Grey, Tribeca Blue, and Corinthian Bronze, with the option of a contrast roof in Narvik Black and Corinthian Bronze.

According to JLR (formerly Jaguar Land Rover), the Evoque features a new center console that creates more usable interior space, in addition to a new shifter. The Evoque also features the same 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen display as its Discovery Sport sibling and the latest Pivo Pro with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and Amazon Alexa connectivity. It is part of the infotainment system. Wireless device charging is also standard.

The new setup eliminates most physical controls, but to compensate, designers have added permanent sidebars to the screen for important functions such as temperature, camera, navigation, and audio volume. When the vehicle is started, a pre-drive menu pops up on the touchscreen for quick access to frequently used functions such as the window defogger and heated seats JLR claims that about 80% of tasks can be performed with two taps from the home screen.

An optional Comfort Pack adds a cabin air purification system that can filter out excess carbon dioxide, PM2.5 particulate matter, and allergens; like most other things in the 2024 Evoque, this can be operated via touch screen.

In the U.S. market, the 2024 Evoque will be offered exclusively with a 2.0-liter turbo four mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive; according to JLR, this engine produces 246 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, and the Evoque's 0-60 mph acceleration 7.0 seconds, according to the company. A plug-in hybrid powertrain will be available in Europe, but not yet in the U.S.

. Prices start at $51,075 for the base Evoque S and $56,075 for the Evoque Dynamic SE (both prices include a mandatory destination charge of $1,175.) The 2024 Range Rover Evoque is available for order now.
