Six Porsche 911 GT3s for sale with transport truck
Literally a truckload of Porsche 911s are for sale in the UK
The lot, currently for sale at dealer RPM Technik (via Piston Heads), includes a 2018 911 GT3 Clubsport, plus a 2018 911 GT 3 Touring, a 2019 911 GT3 RS with Weissach package, a 2016 911 R, and a pair of 2018 911 GT3 race cars (Cup and R). Also included is a semi-trailer truck to transport these cars.
As Piston Heads points out, the six-car collection includes nearly every GT3 variant of the 991 generation. It does not include the earlier 991 generation GT3 and GT3 RS, and a few racing variants, which would not fit on the track anyway.
The car and its transporter were assembled by Austrian architect Alexander Cerda. He wanted to build a life-size version of a toy Porsche transporter truck he had as a child. The original plan was to bring this rolling tribute to Porsche's GT division to the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed, celebrating the automaker's 70th anniversary. That did not happen, and the vehicle and transporter have spent the past several years in storage.
The road car covers the main variants of the 991-generation GT3: the Clubsport with wing, the Touring without wing, and the track-focused GT3 RS (here with Weissach's lightweight package). An added bonus was the limited edition 911 R, of which only 991 were built; the 911 R was a combination of the GT3 RS's 4.0-liter flat-six and manual transmission, and was a big hit when it first went on sale, as it lacked the big wing and flashy elements of the GT3. However, Porsche later revisited the formula with the 992-generation 911 GT3 Touring and the limited edition S/T.
Each car is considered unused, with only the mileage at the time of delivery. Therefore, while it may be possible to assemble a similar collection, it is unlikely that six cars in similar condition could be found. Furthermore, they do not come with their own transporter.
Prices for the collection have not been disclosed.
