2025 Cadillac CT5 significantly increased in price
Cadillac has significantly updated its 2025 CT5 midsize sedan, but the update comes with a significant price increase.
The 2025 CT5, which goes on sale this spring, will carry a base price of $47,595 before destination, CarsDirect reported last week.
This is $9,200 more than the 2024 model's starting price, but the 2024 model's entry grade is the CT5 Luxury, whereas the 2025 model's entry grade is the fully equipped CT5 Premium Luxury. Still, the 2025 CT5 Premium Luxury is $4,700 more expensive than the equivalent 2024 model.
Updates for 2025 include styling changes, a single curved display spanning 33.0 inches that replaces the current design's separate digital meter cluster and infotainment screen, and a modern infotainment system with built-in Google.
Standard features include 18-inch wheels, Super Cruise highway driver assistance system (first three years of use included), AKG premium audio system, surround view camera system, dual-pane sunroof, and multiple driver assistance safety features.
Further up the grade is the 2025 CT5 Sport, which starts at $48,595, $4,500 more than the 2024 model. This grade adds several standard and upgraded features, including larger 19-inch wheels, alloy pedals, and carbon fiber interior trim.
The powertrain will remain unchanged for 2025. The base 2.0-liter turbo four will continue to produce 237 hp, and the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 will continue to produce 335 hp. Both powertrains will be standard with a 10-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive. Cadillac has not disclosed the cost of the V-6 upgrade. Cadillac also has not stated how much it would cost to add all-wheel drive.
The more spirited 2025 CT5-V and 2025 CT5-V Blackwing will go on sale this summer, and pricing information for these models will be released closer to the on-sale date. However, given the price trends for the lower grades of the CT5, it is likely that prices for the V series will also increase.
