W motors is planning an electric supercar with Everratitech
Dubai-based W Motors has named itself for the past 10 years with the launch of supercars that are more expensive than Bugatti and feature elements such as diamond-studded headlights.
In recent years, the company has expanded to offer light commercial vehicles, including those equipped with electric motors.
We are currently planning a return to supercar roots. Plans for the new supercar were announced on Monday by W Motors and Everrati as part of an announcement for a wider partnership between the two companies. Everrati is a British company that specializes in converting classic cars into EVs. The partnership includes Everrati's flexible and scalable electric for additional W Motors models, including the company's Ghiath SUV, which may be supplied to Dubai's police and various security companies.
W Motors will become Everrati's manufacturing partner in West Asia and will handle the production of Everrati products in the region at a plant under construction in Dubai. We also plan to establish an Everrati R&D center at the W Motors plant.
The new car will have an electric powertrain with technology supplied by Everrati, which has previously shown an electric powertrain of 800 horsepower. W Motors' previous Lykan Hypersport and Lykan Supersport supercars achieved similar performance using a twin turbocharged flat 6 engine developed by German Ruf.
The release date of the electric supercar was not mentioned.
W Motors is also working with additional partners to establish an EV plant in Jordan, one of which is the Manaseer Group in Jordan. It is expected that the vehicles to be built at the plant will include both light commercial vehicles and passenger cars.
