2025 Porsche 911, 2026 Mercedes-Benz S-class: Car news headlines
Porsche has announced a hybrid powertrain for the 992 911 as part of its current generation mid-cycle refresh. The hybrid system is usually designed to save fuel, but Porsche's system also tracks it starts with the Carrera GTS grade, but eventually spreads to more grades including the turbo.
Mercedes-Benz is working on updating the S-Class, as evidenced by the sightings of the camouflage prototype. Camouflage gear points to the new design of the front and rear of the flagship sedan, including a much larger grille.
BMW unveiled the V-2024 powered, 2-seater concept Skytop with limited production potential, using the last weekend's Concorso D'Eleganza Villa D'Este. The concept is based on the bones of the current M8 competition and can start within a year, according to BMW's design Chief production.
