Audi isn't going to stop there anytime soon.

On Wednesday, the automaker announced that the 2020 Audi SQ7 three-row crossover, which will be available in the U.S. in the spring, will be priced starting at $85,795.

Under the hood will be a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 500 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque. That's 92 hp and 22 lb-ft of torque less than the 2020 RS Q8's similar powertrain. Power is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

This three-row crossover SUV can't be called slow. According to Audi, the latest Model S accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph, electronically limited.

Audi's all-wheel drive system has a 40:60 torque distribution under normal conditions, but can send up to 80% of power to the rear axle. A sport rear differential switches power from the rear axle to the left or right.

Rear-axle steering is standard and should make the larger and higher-mounted Model S feel smaller in corners. An electronically controlled active anti-skid bar will be optional.

The SQ7 looks more serious than its V6-powered brethren. The sharper front end has aluminum trim (in plastic) and air intake blades. There are also extended side sills, silver mirror caps, and the typical round quad-cornered exhaust tips of the S-model. The SQ7 is fitted with 20-inch or 21-inch wheels.

Inside, the SQ7 is equipped with heated and cooled sport seats adorned with cross stitching, which Audi has not yet revealed.

Audi has also announced the SQ8 model, which replicates the SQ7, but has not yet announced its price.

With the 2020 RS Q8, RS 7 Sportback, and RS 6 Avant, Audi is making American enthusiasts look forward to 2020.
