2023 BMW M4 CSL, 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6: Automotive News Headlines

Finally got to test drive the 2023 BMW M4 CSL (Competition, Sport, Lightweight). This car shows off its capabilities on the street, but begs to be driven on the track. Many carbon fiber parts reduce body mass, and carbon ceramic brakes bring things back to reality.

The U.S.-spec 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 was notable for Hyundai's estimate of 340 miles per charge in its most efficient form. Adding all-wheel drive in the form of a dual-motor powertrain would reduce the range to 310 miles, but the base range of the rear-wheel drive model has not been confirmed; when the Ioniq 6 goes on sale in the United States in 2023, prices are expected to start around $40,000.

While minimal, the 2023 Lexus LX SUV now comes standard with a heated steering wheel and rear-seat entertainment screen cover. The top-specification Ultra Luxury model now comes with Takano Howd trim and Sunflare interior colors.

Motor Authority has these and other articles in today's Automotive News.
