Red Bull Racing has unveiled its 2023 Formula One car in New York.

Red Bull Racing held its 2023 F1 season launch event in New York on Friday, not only announcing a new partnership with Ford, but also revealing the RB19 racing car developed for the new season.

After new design rules are introduced in 2022, most of the 2023 cars are expected to be an evolution of the previous season's designs. the RB19 looks identical to its predecessor, the RB18, but team principal Christian Horner said at Friday's launch that there have been subtle aerodynamic He said at Friday's presentation that there have been "subtle aerodynamic updates.

The livery also appears to be the same as last year, but with new sponsor logos. Interestingly, Red Bull Racing is holding a competition to adopt a fan's design as the livery for the 2023 Miami Grand Prix in May.

Red Bull has not announced specs, but the power unit will be carried over from the previous season. This means that the RB19 will be powered by a hybrid setup that combines a 1.6-liter V-6 turbocharger and two motor generators.

The power unit rules are largely fixed until a sustainable new power unit is introduced in 2026. On Friday, Red Bull announced a new partnership with Ford to jointly develop a new power unit for Red Bull and its feeder team, Alfa Tauri.

Driving for Red Bull again in 2023 will be current world champion Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. Verstappen will be looking for his third title this season.

Backmarker Haas on Tuesday unveiled the livery for its 2023 VF-23 car, which will be driven by Kevin Magnussen and newcomer Nico Hulkenberg in 2023.

The first race on the 2023 F1 calendar is the Bahrain Grand Prix, scheduled for March 5.
