2024 Ford Mustang, 2024 Audi Q7, Ram 1500 REV: Backlash Week

The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse interior debuts, the 2024 Audi Q7 undergoes cold weather testing, and the Ram 1500 REV is named. This article is Motor Authority's "Week in Reverse."

Ford has revealed the interior of the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse, along with the muscle car's optional carbon fiber wheels. The Dark Horse model will feature blue interior accents and Recaro seats with blue trim.

Volkswagen America executives told MA that they will pitch the electric pickup truck to the German board in the third quarter of this year. They hope it will be designed for the US and built in the US. If approved, the pickup truck would be based on the next-generation Atlas crossover and would feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Our spy photographer spotted the 2024 Audi Q7 undergoing cold weather testing on public roads in Europe. The facelifted Q7 will have a new front and rear mask and updated lighting elements. It is unknown if the powertrain or interior will be changed.

Ford previewed the F-150 Lightning, a high-performance one-off pickup. CEO Jim Farley removed the truck's cover for the cameras while showing Red Bull Racing F1 test driver Daniel Ricciardo the truck's headlights and lower front mask.

Sterantis confirmed the name of the Ram 1500 REV electric pickup truck while releasing two teaser images. A Super Bowl commercial scheduled for this weekend will provide more information and a further glimpse of the production truck.
