Ford F-150 Lightning, Tesla recall, 2024 Maserati GranTurismo: the week strikes back

Ford F-150 Lightning production halted, Tesla recalls all vehicles with fully automated driving software, and a test drive of the 2024 Maserati GranTurismo. In this article, we bring you the latest news on the Maserati GranTurismo.

Production of the Ford F-150 Lightning was halted. A battery problem that later led to a vehicle fire was the cause of the production halt order. Ford announced that production would be halted for at least a week, but it could take several weeks to implement production fixes

General Motors President Mark Reuss said in a recent interview, "We don't do broncos." He qualified this statement by noting that he would not do one with at least an internal combustion engine. This opens the door for EV Bronco competition, but closes another door in terms of ICE SUVs.

According to the NHTSA, Tesla has recalled all 362,758 vehicles equipped with the full self-driving driver assistance system. Despite the misleading name, the system does not enable autonomous driving and is considered to be in the "beta" development stage.

The Ram 1500 REV debuted ahead of a Super Bowl ad featuring the electric truck; it will go into production in 2024 and looks similar to the current gas-powered Ram 1500, but with a new nose.

We test drove the 2024 Maserati GranTurismo and found it to be a big, gorgeous boy with a hovercraft-style exhaust note. The electric Folgore model will be an ordeal for true believers, as it lacks the exhaust note of the gas-engine model.
