Ford Explorer electric, 2023 Genesis Electric GV70, Dodge Hornet: a week in reverse

Ford unveiled the electric Explorer for Europe, test drove the 2023 Genesis electric GV70, and test drove the 2023 Dodge Hornet. And we also test drove the 2023 Dodge Hornet.

The electric Ford Explorer became a reality, and some Americans eagerly awaited its debut, as the iconic nameplate will never appear in the US as an EV in this form. The electric Explorer, which will be sold in Europe, is based on Volkswagen's ID.4. In the U.S., a completely different, larger electric Explorer will appear in a few years.

The 2023 Dodge Demon 170 was born with 1,025 hp. It would go from 0-60 mph in 1.66 seconds and hit the 8-second mark in the 1/4 mile. All it takes to achieve these numbers is $100,361, a production quota that will be ordered on March 27, and E85 fuel.

We test drove the 2023 Genesis Electrified GV70 and were intrigued. With the exception of range and charging network, this electric crossover beats the Tesla Model Y in every way.

Spy photographers spotted a prototype of the Fiat 500X successor on public roads. Although camouflaged, the compact crossover's overall shape and circular digital instrument cluster hinted at what was to come. Rumor has it that it will be called the Fiat 600.

We also test drove the 2023 Dodge Hornet GT and the 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T. Inheriting the DNA of muscle cars, these crossover SUVs bring strong power and hot hatch-like driving dynamics to the small crossover SUV segment.
