Koenigsegg continues to push the limits of unrivaled performance. This week, Swedish hypercar maker Koenigsegg announced that its hybrid hypercar, the Gemera, will be powered by a V-8 engine.

Caterham unveiled its Project V concept this week, previewing its planned electric sports car. The concept features a design by Anthony Jannarelly, designer of the Jannarelly Design-1 sports car, and will see a production model in late 2025 or early the following year.

Hyundai N unveiled its first electric car in the form of the Ioniq 5 N. The car is not just a clone of the related Kia EV6 GT, but features a variety of features developed by N, including the ability to simulate gearshifts for more power and the feel of an ICE powertrain, which Hyundai says is "a great way to get more out of your car.

One of the cars we tested this week was the Lotus Elettre electric SUV. This car, like most performance EVs, is fast, but the chassis still needs some work. That will become apparent as the car is pushed toward its top speed.

Lamborghini has unveiled its LMDh racing car, which will compete in both the IMSA Sports Car Championship and the FIA World Endurance Championship starting in 2024. Like all LMDh cars, it has a hybrid powertrain, but the internal combustion components are a custom-built V-8 developed in-house by Lamborghini's Squadra Corse motorsport division.

Another Lamborghini headline this week is the successor to the Huracan. The new supercar will likely feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain and carbon fiber tubing shared with its Revuelto big brother, and is expected to arrive in late 2024. A prototype was spotted this week.

While the Porsche Carrera GT is likely to be automotive perfection for most Porsche enthusiasts, some owners were not satisfied with the original design and asked Zagato to build a new body. As a result, six of the design known as the Carrera GTZ were built, one of which is currently for sale.

And finally, Ferrari unveiled its latest one-off supercar built under its Special Projects program: the new car, dubbed KC23, was commissioned by one of Ferrari's most loyal customers and is based on the 488 GT3 race car's It is based on the platform of the 488 GT3 race car.
