Dates Announced for 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival
The clock has not yet ticked down to the start of the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, but organizers are already looking ahead to next year.
Goodwood announced Thursday that the 2025 Festival of Speed will be held July 10-13 next year, while the 2025 Goodwood Revival will take place September 12-14, 2025. The schedule will be the same as two years ago, as the Revival will be moved by one weekend from this year.
The annual Festival of Speed will bring together prominent racing cars, performance road cars, and personalities from various eras for a time attack on the hill-climb course on the Goodwood grounds. Organizers have not yet announced details for 2025, but this year MG will be featured and Red Bull Racing will celebrate its 20th anniversary and powertrain development under the theme "Horseless to Hybrid - Revolutions in Power."
The Goodwood Revival features vintage racing cars that were used in professional racing from 1948 to 1966 in various classes on a road course on the grounds. Participants and spectators are typically dressed in vintage clothing of the period to maximize authenticity.
This year's Goodwood Revival will follow the 2023 Trials by using sustainable fuels for all race cars to reduce emissions. Organizers announced in November 2023 that the fuel must be at least 70% "sustainable content" in accordance with FIA (Federation Internationale de l'Automobile) requirements, adding that sustainable fuel does not require any modifications to the cars.
Tickets for the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed and the 2025 Goodwood Revival will go on sale later this year; the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed will take place July 11-14, and the 2024 Goodwood Revival is scheduled for September 6-8.
