Incas specializes in converting luxury SUVs into armored vehicles. The Canadian company has previously created armored versions of the Cadillac Escalade and Mercedes-Benz G-Class, and is now turning its attention to the Lincoln Navigator L, a long-wheelbase version of Lincoln's flagship SUV.

The Incus armor in the 2020 Lincoln Navigator L is said to be capable of withstanding a .30 or .308 caliber Winchester FMJ round, as well as withstanding the blast of two grenades detonated simultaneously. (Ed. note: I hope it doesn't go that far)

According to Incas, this protection is provided by "all-round ballistic protection for the ceiling and floor of the vehicle" and laminated ballistic glass. The Navigator is also equipped with upgraded suspension, runlet tires, emergency lights, sirens, and a public address system.

Incas did not modernize the powertrain. The armored Navigator uses the same 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 as the regular version, developing 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque; many of the Navigator's electronic features are retained, including six driving modes, parking assist, and autonomous emergency braking. However, the increased weight of the armor may affect driving performance.

The interior is a luxurious place to hide from gunfire, and the second row features reclining captain's chairs with power, massage, heating and cooling. The armored vehicle is also equipped with an entertainment system for rear-seat passengers, with a Revel Ultima audio system with 20 speakers offered as a factory installation. In addition, the SUVs are equipped with illuminated running boards and proximity detection technology to give the driver advance warning of a potential ambush.

Incas does not name prices for the armored Navigator, but the company's armored Escalade starts at $300,000 and can exceed $500,000 when fully equipped.
